Oakland Roots and Soul Sports Club Partners with Oakland-Based Small Business, Family Laundry

Oakland, CA - Oakland Roots SC announces a new brand partnership with locally owned and operated Family Laundry, as the Official 'Clean Sheet' Partner for Oakland Roots and Soul Sports Club.

Family Laundry will be featured in stadium announcements and on social media channels whenever Oakland Roots or Soul achieve a clean sheet by allowing zero goals. Additionally, Family Laundry will provide laundry services for the Oakland Roots and Soul SC and will be the preferred laundry vendor for visiting USL teams throughout the 2024 season.

"Clean sheets lead to winning games, and partnering with locally owned businesses helps create sustainable neighborhoods," said VP of Brand Partnerships Andrea Lepore. "Finding creative ways to partner with Oakland-based, family-owned companies like Family Laundry not only assists our Club with vital services but also amplifies their growing brand in our community."

Launched in 2019, Family Laundry is an Oakland-based business with over 30 employees servicing commercial and residential customers with pick-up and delivery laundry services throughout the Bay Area, including San Francisco, Oakland, and the East Bay. Sustainability is at their core, as they use only plant-based hypoallergenic detergents and ozone when washing, with no fragrances, bleach, softeners, or dry cleaning solvents.
