NY Lizards Beat Boston Cannons at Home, 15 - 12

Hempstead, NY (July 11, 2019) - The New York Lizards MLL Lacrosse team won over the Boston Cannons in their fourth home game of the season here today by a score of 15 - 12 in regular play.
This was the third meeting this season of these two rivals - and the Lizards were seeking revenge after dropping their first two contests with Boston on the road.
Dylan Molloy (4) of Setauket, NY - who this week was named to the MLL All-Star Team - scored four goals, two coming in the opening minutes of the first quarter. Key plays by Rob Pannell, Nick Galasso, Justin Reh and Greg Puskuldjian lifted the team to its second win of the season. The Lizards record now stands at 2-4.
The Lizards' next take on the Chesapeake Bayhawks on Jul 20 in Annapolis, MD.
The Lizards also hosted "Camp Day" for Long Island kids in attendance, with special games and prizes including photo opportunities with Lazer, the NY Lizards mascot, raffles in the pre-game Fan Zone with prizes including team signed jerseys and cleats and post-game autographs opportunities with Lizards players.
Official game attendance was 4,716 spectators.
