NWSL to Preview 2016 Playoffs Via Media Teleconferences

CHICAGO- The National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) will host two media teleconferences to preview each semifinal match in the 2016 NWSL Playoffs. On Wednesday, Sept. 28, the Washington Spirit and Chicago Red Stars will be available to the media at 3:45 p.m. ET. On Thursday, Sept. 29, Portland Thorns FC and Western New York Flash will be available to the media at 4 p.m. ET.

The 2016 NWSL Semifinal matches will feature Washington Spirit vs. Chicago Red Stars on Friday, Sept. 30 at 8 p.m. ET on FOX Sports 1 and Portland Thorns FC vs. Western New York Flash on Sunday, Oct. 2 at 5 p.m. ET on FOX Sports 1.

The two teams to advance will meet in the NWSL Championship to be crowned the 2016 NWSL champion, live on FOX Sports 1, on Sunday, Oct. 9 at 5 p.m. ET at BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston, Texas.
