NWSL Issues Fine to Houston Dash Head Coach Sam Laity, San Diego Wave FC Head Coach Casey Stoney

NEW YORK - The National Women's Soccer League announced today it has issued a fine to San Diego Wave FC head coach Casey Stoney for comments detrimental to the league made during a post-match press conference on June 9, 2023, in violation of Section 12.2.5 (e) "Prejudicial Statements and Public Criticism" of the League Operations Manual.
Additionally, in violation of the same section, Houston Dash head coach Sam Laity has been issued a fine for comments made criticizing match officials during a post-match press conference on June 11, 2023.
