Nwo To Guest Manage Bluefish On September 2

The Bridgeport Bluefish today announced that former nWo members Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and Sean Waltman will guest manage the team on Friday, September 2 as the 'Fish take on the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs. The nWo will throw out the ceremonial first pitch and participate in a pre-game meet-and-greet with fans. Also, following the game a Micro Wrestling showcase will be held in the Two Roads Beer Garden.
"The nWo is taking over The Ballpark at Harbor Yard on September 2nd," says Bluefish General Manager Jamie Toole. "This will be an exciting night of baseball and wrestling as fans will be able to meet these three former WWE Superstars and also experience a live wrestling showcase from the Micro Wrestling Federation."
The nWo (New World Order) is a professional wrestling stable that began in 1996, with Hall and Nash as co-founders of the group, and Waltman joining the faction shortly thereafter. The stable originated in WCW (World Championship Wrestling) and became one of the most influential groups in professional wrestling history.
Kevin Nash has won a total of 21 championships during his time with WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment), WCW, and TNA (Total Nonstop Action Wrestling), including being a six-time world champion (five WCW World Heavyweight Championship reigns and one as WWE World Heavyweight Champion). Nash, known as Diesel during his time in WWE, was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2015.
Scott Hall, known as Razor Ramon during his WWE tenure, is a four time WWE Intercontinental Champion, two time WCW United States Champ, one time WCW World Television title holder, and nine time World Tag Team Champion (seven with WCW, one in TNA and one in AWA). Hall, as Razor Ramon, was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2014.
Sean Waltman has spent time with the WWE (as 1-2-3 Kid and X-Pac), WCW (as Syxx), and TNA (as Syxx-Pac) and has won a dozen championships over the course of the three promotions. This includes runs as WWE European Champion, WWE Light Heavyweight Champ, WCW Cruiserweight title holder, WWE & WCW Tag Team Champion, and TNA X-Division Champ.
Game time on Friday, September 2 is 7:12 pm with The Ballpark at Harbor Yard gates opening at 6:12 pm. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $12 . There will be a pre-game meet-and-greet with the three nWo members, which costs $50 per person and includes a ticket to the game. During the meet-and-greet, fans will have the opportunity to take photos with the nWo and have one item autographed. The meet-and-greet will begin at 5:30 pm.
