York Revolution News Release
(York, Pa.) - The intense action of women's professional softball will return to York next week when PeoplesBank Park, home of the York Revolution, plays host to the first two games of the 2016 season of National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) Softball.
The PA Rebellion will face off against the Akron Racers on Tuesday, May 31, and Wednesday, June 1. First pitch for both games is 6:30 p.m. Tickets are available at www.yorkrevolution.com.
"We are absolutely thrilled to welcome NPF back to the ballpark and to be among the first this season to see the talent and passion of these professional softball players," said York Revolution President Eric Menzer. "These athletes are whipping a softball at 70 miles per hour and making plays in the field that even major league ballplayers have to admire, and we are very pleased to be able to add this action to the great family entertainment happening at PeoplesBank Park this year."
NPF began in 1997 as the Women's Professional Softball League. Today the league features six teams that will play more than 150 games throughout the United States from June through August. And it will all start in York at PeoplesBank Park next Tuesday, May 31.
Tickets for this perfect family entertainment are just $12, and group pricing discounts are available. For more information, call (717) 801-4487.
