NPF Championship and All-Star Games on ESPN2

August 24, 2005 - National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) - New England Riptide News Release

Don't forget to tune in on Sunday August 28 when ESPN2 will broadcast the NPF Final Championship game and the All-Star East vs. West game. Broadcast times are 5PM (EST) for the Championship game, and 7PM (EST) for the All-Star game. Check your local listings to verify exact times in your area of the country.

Look For Five New England Riptide Players in the All-Star Game

Five Riptide players have been named to the NPF East Team: Sarah Andersen, Lyndsey Angus, Ashley Courtney, Danielle Henderson, and Kellie Wilkerson. They will join players from the Akron Racers and New York Juggernaut, and their opponent will be the NPF West Team, comprised of players from the Texas Thunder, Arizona Heat, and Chicago Bandits. The game will be played in Chicago, and will be the final event of the 2005 NPF season.

Thanks again to everyone who came out this season to support the team, and to those of you who live far away but are Riptide fans. We appreciate each one of you, and couldn't be here without you. We look forward to a new season in 2006, with changes and improvements and, of course, the best quality of softball game we can have out there on the field.

Our website will be kept updated with team news, player info, and 2006 plans, so keep in touch! See you next year!
