Reading, PA - May 17, 2010 - Upon mutual agreement, Bernie Nowotarski, General Manager and Head Coach of the Reading Express has left the organization as of May 17, 2010. The entire organization wishes Bernie the best in his future endeavors. Bernie is an honored and distinguished member of the Berks County Sports Community and will always be a valued part of the team's history.
Ted K. Lavender, team owner, will act as Interim General Manager and Chris Thompson currently the Offensive Coordinator and Assistant General Manager will act as Interim Head Coach for the remainder of the season.
