
Norwich University pair assigned to Albany Conquest

ALBANY, NY - The Albany Conquest of arenafootball2 today announced the club has been assigned wide receiver/defensive backs Jamar Rawles and Andreas Cole.
Rawles, 23, played four seasons at Norwich University from 2002 to 2005. As a senior, he was named to the Empire 8 All-Conference First Defensive Team and to the First Team Special Teams as a punt/kick return specialist. Rawles had three interceptions that season and broke up seven passes. As a return specialist, he was second in the league in punt returns with a 12.1 per return average and fourth in kick returns with a 22.1 per return average.
Craig, 22, played four seasons at Norwich University from 2002 to 2005. As a senior, he was named to the Empire 8 All-Conference Second Offensive Team after making 31 receptions for 510 years and five touchdowns. He ranked among the top receivers in the league in receptions per game with 3.44.
Rawles and Craig will both be af2 rookies in 2007.
