Vancouver Whitecaps FC return home to face rival Portland Timbers this Saturday, April 25 at 7:00 p.m. It is sure to be a heated affair as both teams have a lot to play for. The 'Caps will be looking for their first win of the season and are hoping to see the return of key striker Marlon James and fan-favourite Justin Moose from injury. For the Timbers, this is their first match of the season and with over 100 supporters making their way up the I-5 to Swangard, they will surely be looking to reward their faithful followers. USING YOUR TICKETS
The weather is calling for sun with variable cloudiness, so it should be a nice spring evening for soccer. If you are not able to use your tickets to the match, consider donating them to Kids Up Front (604.266.5437), which provides access to sporting events for underserved young people. 35 YEARS PLAYER CARD SERIES
The next installment of our 35 Years Player Card Series highlights English goalkeeper Phil Parkes, who was an integral member of the Whitecaps side that won the North American Soccer League championship in 1979. Remember, the player card will be distributed free to the first 1,000 fans that enter the gates so be sure to arrive early.
