
Northern Kentucky's Joshen Named Defensive Player of the Week

CANTON, OH - Northern Kentucky defensive back Kenneth Joshen was named the Terry's Tire Town Defensive Player of the Week, the Ultimate Indoor Football League (UIFL) announced today (Monday, February 28, 2011).
Joshen recorded six tackles, three pass break-ups and two interceptions as the River Monsters opened the 2011 season with a 63-41 victory over Canton. He took his first of his two picks back for a touchdown to give NKY a 14-o lead in the first quarter.
The River Monsters (1-0) will remain on the road as they travel to Johnstown to face the Generals Saturday.
The Northern Kentucky River Monsters are inaugural members of the Ultimate Indoor Football League. The River Monsters, a professional indoor/arena football team, play their home football games at the Bank of Kentucky Center on the campus of Northern Kentucky University. Their first home game will be March 18, 2011.
