General thoughts on the match...
Like I told the guys in the locker room, we started the game very young, and we ended the game very young in our mentality. That's part of why we are playing in this league and have a second team for our club [FC Dallas]. It's to learn from these types of moments and to learn how to win. They did a great job fighting back to get into the lead. In the second half we were much better than the first. We met our goal which was 2-1, and then we turned off on a kickoff. It is not one person's fault, it's a calamity of errors from multiple people, including myself. I could have helped change the moment someway. It's one we got to look back and learn how to win. This is a moment like no other. I don't think we had a moment like this last year.

On his return to the club...
It's nice to be back, a lot of familiar faces, but they have welcomed me with open arms. Developing those relationships in training and off the field is very important and it's been going on. But I'm very excited to be back.
