Upper Marlboro, MD. ABA Maryland Nighthawks GM Rick Matsko announced that the professional basketball team has signed former NBA player and Syracuse All-American Lawrence Moten to the team. "The addition of Lawrence brings to our team not only one of the premiere players in the ABA, but also a tested veteran who will assist the younger players on our team," stated Coach Brad Melton.
The Nighthawks are one of the strong teams in the ABA's Blue Division, currently rated 10th in the Playoff Power Rankings and are showing great improvement. For more information, call 202 412 4796, or visit www.marylandnighthawks.com or www.abalive.com.
