Tri-City Diesel News Release
Lafayette, LA ---- The National Indoor Football League released the 2002 All-Divisional players today. There were twenty players and one coach chosen from each division. Coaches from each team were asked to vote on both All-Divisional and All-Stars. The voting was very close in many categories.
Executive Committee Chairperson Carolyn Shiver was pleased with this year's nominations. "Our level of talent increases each year. We are pleased that most of our teams are represented on the All-Divisional or All-Star Lists." It is anticipated that the league will see players moving up to bigger leagues next season. This is one of the reasons the NIFL came into existence. "It is a good feeling to see a player's hard work pay off."
