
NIFL Approves Six New Franchises at League Meeting
September 30, 2004 - National Indoor Football League (NIFL) News Release
Lafayette, LA--The National Indoor Football League is pleased to announce the approval of several new franchises as voted on by team owners at league-wide meetings held in Las Vegas, NV earlier this week.
Six new franchises will join the NIFL ranks for 2005. These franchises include:
Dayton, Ohio
Tri-Cities, Washington
Everett, Washington
Kissimmee, Florida
Lakeland, Florida
Daytona Beach, Florida
In addition, the NIFL approved the move of two current member franchises to new locations for play in 2005. The Oklahoma Crude will now move to Rome, GA. Also, the Staten Island Xtreme will relocate to East Rutherford, NJ.
