LAFAYETTE, LA--The National Indoor Football League is pleased to announce the top players from Week 16 action, as follows:

Atlantic Conference

Doug Coleman, Quarterback - Houma Bayou Bucks

Atlantic Conference Offensive Player of the Week

Houma quarterback Doug Coleman had another strong outing Saturday night as the Bucks defeated the Oklahoma Crude, 87-33. Coleman completed 13 of 19 passes for 150 yards and six touchdowns.

William Mulder, Defensive Back - Lexington Horsemen

Atlantic Conference Defensive Player of the Week

Horsemen defensive back William Mulder helped anchor Lexington's defense as they rode past Waco, 116-18 on Saturday. Mulder was responsible for four total tackles, five interceptions, including three returned for touchdowns, one forced fumble, and five passes defended.

Rafael Cooper, Kick Returner - Carolina Rays

Atlantic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week

Carolina kick returner Rafael Cooper played strong on special teams for the Rays as they lost 48-3 over the weekend. Cooper returned seven kicks for 142 yards on the night, averaging 20 yards per return with a long of 29.

Pacific Conference

Terrance Bryant, Quarterback - Black Hills Red Dogs

Pacific Conference Offensive Player of the Week

Even though the Red Dogs lost 51-39 against the Wyoming Cavalry, Black Hills quarterback Terrance Bryant still had a strong outing on the road, both in the air and on the ground. Bryant completed 31 of 42 passes for 219 yards and five touchdowns in addition to carrying the ball 10 times for 56 yards in the loss.

Donavon LaViness, Linebacker - Omaha Beef

Pacific Conference Defensive Player of the Week

Omaha linebacker Donavon LaViness was key on defense for the Beef in the 62-47 win over the Show Me Believers on Saturday. LaViness was responsible for five solo and two assisted tackles, including one tackle for a loss, one interception returned 11 yards, and one pass defended as the Beef won on the road in Missouri.

Chase Long, Kicker – Omaha Beef

Pacific Conference Special Teams Player of the Week

Beef kicker Chase Long had another good kicking game Saturday night against the Show Me Believers. Long was perfect on extra point attempts, kicking 8 of 8. He also completed 2 of 4 field goal attempts, from 24 and 30 yards out, as he was responsible for 14 total points in the Beef's 62-47 win against the Believers on Saturday.
