Danbury Titans News Release
The Danbury Titans are happy to announce another call up to the ECHL as veteran Nick Niedert heads to Reading. Niedert is the second call up in as many days after Alex Vazzano was called up to Cincinnati. Niedert joins Vazzano, Bronner, and Gjurich as the Titans callups to the ECHL this season.
Niedert is 5-3-1 in nine games for the Titans this season with a 3.22 goals against average and a .881 save percentage. Reading has three games this weekend at home.
The Danbury Titans travel to Brewster to face off against the Bulldogs on Friday night. Saturday is Danbury's first home game of the 2016 calendar year as they host the Danville Dashers at 7:35 PM. Make sure to support the Titans in Brewster as a ticket stub from Friday night's game will get you a $2 beer at the Penalty Box Bar at the Danbury Ice Arena Saturday night.
