
Nick Schneider Called up to ECHL Wheeling

Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs News Release
ROANOKE, VA - The Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs announced on Tuesday that defenseman Nick Schneider has been called up to the ECHL's Wheeling Nailers.
Schneider has appeared in all 40 of the Rail Yard Dawgs games and has five goals and 19 assists. The defenseman is in his second season as Roanoke's captain. During his career, Schneider has played in a combined 288 games at the Double-A level of minor pro hockey between the CHL, IHL and ECHL. This is his first appearance above the SPHL since the 2014-15 season.
In a separate transaction on Monday, forward Viktor Tiutchenko was placed on waivers.
The Rail Yard Dawgs will put their seven-game winning streak on the line on Friday night in Southaven against the Mississippi RiverKings. Puck drop at Landers Center is scheduled for 7:05 PM CST.
