NIAGARA DAREDEVILS SIGN MATT LUEDTKE

St. Catharines, ON. The ABA Niagara DareDevils professional basketball club today announced the signing of former University of Montana-Western standout Matt Luedtke, a 6'0" guard with a 40" vertical leap. Luedtke was a two time All-Conference and All-State selection in his career at Montana-Western. He brings with him a huge resume of accomplishments including being the Montana Gatorade Player of the Year and Associated Press' Player of the Year after his senior season. He was also selected to play in the Montana-Wyoming All-Star Game. In 14 conference games in 2004-2005, Luedtke lead the conference with 20.9ppg and was second in the league in 3-pointers made with 4.21 per game. He was also third in the league in free throw percentage at 86.4%. According to Otis Hailey, DareDevils head coach, "Matt is very good - and the ABA style of play will fit his talents beautifully. We think he'll be one of the best guards in the league."
