NFL Network Talent Set for First Two Rounds of Postseason

CHICAGO - Anthony Herron and David Baumann will be in the NFL Network broadcast booth as the Arena Football League opens the "AVITAE Road to ArenaBowl XXV" in the AFL Quarterfinal Playoff game this Friday night, July 27, featuring the Utah Blaze at San Antonio Talons. AFL great, Sherdrick Bonner, will serve as the sideline analyst for the game, the Arena Football League announced today.
The trio will also serve as NFL Network's talent for the AFL Semifinal Playoff game on Friday, August 3, 2012.
Herron starred at the University of Iowa as a defensive lineman and played for five years in the NFL before playing and coaching over the course of five seasons in the AFL. Following his AFL career, Herron joined NFL Network in 2010 as a football analyst for "Arena Football Friday." He also serves as a game and studio analyst for NBC Sports Network.
Baumann is the radio host of "The David Baumann Show" airing weekday mornings on ESPN 1080 in Orlando, FL. He played linebacker for the University of Rochester before transferring to Syracuse University in 1999. Baumann has called live telecasts for the Orlando Predators and Tampa Bay Storm since 2010. He also serves as the play-by-play broadcaster for Minor League Baseball games and University of Central Florida football, baseball, soccer and basketball games.
Bonner was named the Greatest Quarterback in AFL History by the Silver Anniversary Committee this year and has also appeared on a number of "NET10 Arena Football Friday" broadcasts on NFL Network this season. In his 15 seasons in the AFL, Bonner was a four-time All-Arena selection and was named MVP in ArenaBowl VII. Bonner is also a finalist for the 2012 AFL Hall of Fame Class.
NFL Network's coverage of the first two rounds of the AFL postseason begins at 8:00 pm ET. The 25th season of Arena Football culminates with AVITAE ArenaBowl XXV in New Orleans on August 10, 2012. Kickoff is set for 10:30 pm ET on NFL Network.
