Powerade Player of the Week
Acadiana catcher Mitchell Nau had a standout performance that netted him, not only our Powerade Player of the Week Award, but also Texas Collegiate League recognition.
The sophomore from Texas A&M University hit .520 with a resounding .960 slugging percentage in six starts from July 30 through August 4. Nau cashed in 7 extra base hits (2 home runs), 7 runs scored, 9 RBIs, and 2 stolen bases en route to winning league-wide player of the week honors.
