Newark Bears News Release
This holiday season, the Newark Bears will make a difference in the lives of many underprivileged youth in Essex County.
The Bears will invite children and representatives from many local youth organizations to Bears & Eagles Riverfront Stadium to receive their season tickets and donated toys. During this special day, Santa and his helpers, who will deliver gifts, will greet the children. They will also participate in arts and crafts while enjoying yummy warm and sweet treats that will put sparkles in their little eyes.
The Bears want to encourage donations of unwrapped toys that will serve as gifts to these children. Donation locations will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at Bears & Eagle Riverfront Stadium on Broad St. in Newark as well as Dr. Doug Spiel's medical office in Edison, N.J. on Oak Tree Rd. Hurry because the toy drive ends on December 12.
Please join the Newark Bears in helping to make this a memorable holiday season for poverty-stricken children and families by participating in the Newark Bears and Spiel MD's Holiday Toy Drive.
