New York Sportimes Advance to Wtt Finals Weekend with 22-16 Victory over Springfield Lasers

With their 22-16 victory over the Springfield Lasers tonight, the New York Sportimes advance to the WTT Finals Weekend presented by GEICO as the #2 seed in the Eastern Conference. The Sportimes will face the defending WTT Champion Washington Kastles in the Eastern Conference Final on September 15 in Charleston, S.C. The Kastles are the overall top seeded team for the WTT Finals Weekend. The loss by Springfield means the Orange County Breakers advance to the playoffs for the first time since 2009. Springfield, Kansas City and Sacramento are battling for the final Western Conference playoff spot.
