
New York Red Bulls Send Midfielder Ian Christianson on Loan to Orlando City

HARRISON, NJ (July 25, 2014) - The New York Red Bulls sent Ian Christianson on loan to Orlando City Soccer Club the club announced on Friday. New York can recall Christianson at any point during the loan.
The midfielder was drafted by the Red Bulls with the 22nd overall pick in the 2013 MLS SuperDraft. Christianson made 78 appearances (77 starts) during his four years at Georgetown, scoring 14 goals and adding 10 assists.
Now in his second year with the Red Bulls, Christianson has yet to make a first team appearance. The Georgetown product made four reserve league appearances in 2013 and appeared as a second-half substitute in a friendly against Olympique Lyonnais.
