The Atlanta Xplosion started the game off with a bang, returning the opening kick-off for a touchdown. They then built their lead to 21-7 going into the fourth quarter. Andra Named Athlete of the Year

Sharks' owner Andra Douglas has been named The Professional Female Athlete of the Year by the Nassau County Sports Commission. Andra will receive her award at the Tenth Annual Awards Dinner sponsored by Modell's at the Chateau Briand in Carle Place, NY on April 19, 2004. Also receiving honors will be Julius "Dr.J" Erving, Boomer Esiason and Rod Gilbert.
