New York Sharks News Release
The New York Sharks bid to repeat as IWFL champions was derailed by the Sacramento Sirens on Saturday. The Sirens defeated the Sharks in the 2003 IWFL Championship Game in New York City by the score of 41-30.
Coming out of the locker rooms in the second half, New York had a 16-15 lead, but could not hold off the number 1 offense in the league.
Leilani Limary was named the MVP of the game for the Sirens and Missy Marmorale was named the MVP of the Sharks.
