New Ownership for Texas Strikers Announced

BEAUMONT, TX, - SMG, management company of Ford Park, is pleased to announce that the Texas Strikers arena soccer team, now an MASL (Major Arena Soccer League) franchise, has been acquired by Oxford City FC. Oxford City and SMG have reached an agreement for the team to continue to play arena soccer at Ford Arena. The new name of the team and other related information will be announced soon.
Oxford City FC CEO Thomas Anthony Guerriero stated, "This is an extraordinary moment in the history of Oxford City, the team and the MASL. What Oxford City brings to the table is something the likes of which professional indoor soccer in the US has never seen, a 132-year tradition of excellence in professional soccer."
