New Jersey to Hold Summer Lacrosse Camp

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ – The New Jersey Storm pro indoor lacrosse team announced plans today to hold its first-ever summer lacrosse camp. National Lacrosse League All-Stars, Storm players, and collegiate All-Americans will be on hand to teach players lacrosse skills and strategies. Boys ages seven to 17 are welcomed to participate. The day camp will be held from Monday, August 12 to Thursday, August 15 at The Center Circle in Rahway, NJ. Sessions each day will last from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The registration fee for the New Jersey Storm Summer Camp is $315.00 per child, with a $100 deposit due by July 10.

Campers will receive various items from Storm sponsor STX Lacrosse including: a reversible jersey, water bottle, sticker, and lanyard. Participants will also receive two Storm Three-Game Ticket Plans for the 2002-2003 season and other prizes. Campers should bring a lacrosse stick, lacrosse gloves, helmet, mouth-guard, protective cup, elbow pads, shoulder pads, and sneakers or turf shoes.

The New Jersey Storm recently completed a successful Inaugural Season at the Continental Airlines Arena in which the team won four of its last six games and averaging nearly 6,000 fans per contest.
