MUSKEGON, Michigan (June 18th) - The Muskegon Lumberjacks congratulate Coach Rich McKenna for being named the new head coach of North American Hockey League team the New Jersey Titans. After two great seasons with Coach McKenna, the Lumberjacks must say good bye and good luck as he continues his career in coaching.

As the Lumberjacks prepare for its sixth season in the United States Hockey League, Coach McKenna will be preparing his team, the New Jersey Titans, for action in the NAHL as Head Coach. "Rich is ready for this role. He has been a good soldier and is very well prepared, we wish him nothing but the best." states GM and Director of Hockey Operations John Vanbiesbrouck.

McKenna, prior to spending two season with the Lumberjacks as Assistant General Manager and Assistant Coach spent two seasons as the assistant coach for Division One University of Connecticut Huskies. He not only helped coach the teams, but recruited new players each year. Coach McKenna will be missed by the Lumberjacks.

The Muskegon Lumberjacks look to capitalize on a strong 2014-2015 season.
