New Jersey Storm Tickets On Sale Tuesday

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ - New Jersey Storm Pro Lacrosse announced today that individual game tickets for the 2002-2003 season will go on sale at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 29 through Ticketmaster. The Storm is entering its second season in the indoor National Lacrosse League. The team will play eight home games at the Continental Airlines Arena, beginning with the home opener versus the Columbus Landsharks on Saturday, January 4 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets may be obtained calling (201) 507-8900, logging on to Ticketmaster.com, or going to the Continental Airlines Arena box office or any Ticketmaster location. Ticket prices are: $10, $18, and $25.

"The New Jersey Storm games are affordable family entertainment," said Storm Deputy Governor Chip Santye, "Our ticket prices should make it easy for fans to sample our exciting product. Once people see the speed of the game and the overall entertainment value of the event they become hooked."

Last season, the expansion Storm won four of its last six contests to finish at (5-11). The team averaged nearly 6,000 fans per home game. New Jersey recently traded for two of the top scorers in the NLL, Roy Colsey and Mike Benedict, to help bolster its offense. The Storm will open this season on the road versus the Rochester Knighthawks on Saturday, December 28 at 7:35 p.m. Eight-game and four-game season ticket plans are on sale now.
