
New Jersey Nets Assign Jordan Williams to NBA D-League Affiliate Springfield Armor

NEW YORK, Jan. 18, 2012 ? The New Jersey Nets today assigned forward Jordan Williams to the Springfield Armor, the Nets? NBA D-League affiliate. The assignment marks the 25th time an NBA player has been assigned to their NBA D-League affiliate during the 2011-12 season. It is the first assignment for Williams.
Williams (6-10, 260, Maryland) was selected in the second round, 36th overall, by the Nets in the 2011 NBA Draft and has appeared in six games for New Jersey this season averaging 1.0 points and 1.5 rebounds in 6.2 minutes.
Nets fans can stay in step with Williams, who is expected to be available tomorrow when the Armor hosts the Maine Red Claws in Springfield, by logging onto nba.com/futurecast to watch all of the Armor's games live, online, for free.
