LITTLE FALLS, NJ- The Northern League game scheduled between the New Jersey Jackals and the Elmira Pioneers at Yogi Berra Stadium was postponed due to bad weather and poor field conditions Friday night. The two clubs will make up the game as part of a doubleheader tomorrow afternoon, Saturday August 3rd, with the first game slated for a 5:05 start.
Fans holding individual game tickets for Friday night's game must bring them to the Yogi Berra Stadium box office and exchange them for any other game on the Jackals' 2002 home regular season schedule and up to August 2, 2003. The fireworks display has been rescheduled for August 16th.
On Saturday the Jackals will pitch righthander Steve Fish (6-3) and southpaw Mike Bertotti (8-4); while Elmira will counter with southpaw Sean Brummett (6-3) and righthander Shigaki Sano (1-2).
