This grassroots program is designed to provide youngsters with an opportunity to compete, free of charge, in a competition that recognizes individual excellence in core baseball skills. Competitors are divided into four age divisions: 7/8, 9/10, 11/12, 13/14, and have the chance to advance through four levels of competition:

Local; Sectional; Team Championships to be held at Fenway Park; and then finally the National Finals at the 2008 MLB™ All-Star Game®. This year's All-Star Game® will be played at Yankee Stadium.

The individual Pitching, Hitting and Running Champions, along with the All-Around Champion in each age group at the Local Competition will be awarded and advance to the Sectional Level of Competition.

Winners at each of these Local Competitions won't have to travel far for Sectionals! Sectional Competition - and one step away from playing on the field at Fenway Park - will be held on Martin Softball Field in Lowell, MA on May 24, 2008 at 9 AM! Winners of the Team Championships and their families will win a trip to New York to be guests of MLB™ at the All-Star Game®. Pitch, Hit & Run™ National Finals will be held during Major League Baseball's® All-Star FanFest.
