The 2005 season is coming soon! The team takes the field in two weeks for spring training, and our first home game is on Wednesday, June 16 at 7:05pm. Tickets may be purchased on our website, by calling 1-866-4RIPTIDE, or at the gate. Please call for additional information on group rates.
You Can Still Participate in Riptide FUN-Raising
Are you a coach or a softball mom or dad? There's still time to raise some money for your team or league, while at the same time promoting the sport of women's professional softball. We have heard from many parents and coaches who want to ensure that this sport is still there and going strong when their daughters or players are adults. What better way to show your support while at the same time providing much-needed fundraising cash for your own team? Here's how it works: we send you ticket coupon books, each of which has 4 coupons good to any Riptide home game, and for each $32 book sold, your team earns $12. At the end of your sale, you can return any unused books to us, so there is no risk at all to you.
Attention High School and College Students, and Others--Would You Like to Join the Fun?
We have a great opportunity for a few of the right people to work with us this summer, assisting at games, getting experience in a variety of areas. If you are responsible, and able to commit to at least half of the games throughout the season, we'd like to talk to you! This is considered an internship and not a paid position, but you will be able to experience the games, the players and coaches up close, get to know other great people, and have something exciting to put on your resume. If you happen to need internship credit hours for a college program, we may have that opportunity for you. Home games start June 16, and the entire schedule is on the website.
