Laredo Bucks News Release

LAREDO, TX: The Laredo Bucks, of the Central Hockey League, announced Tuesday that they have re-signed Torrie Jung for the 2011-2012 season.

The 22 year old, former NHL Draft Pick of the Tampa Bay Lightning (2007 Entry Draft), returns for his second season between the pipes with the Bucks.

The 6'1", 170 pound netminder appeared in 40 games last year. During his rookie season, Jung had a goals against average of 3.27 and a save percentage of .904. He made a total of 1135 saves.

"Torrie is going to be a big asset to our team's success this coming season," states Head Coach Dube. "Having a goaltender like Torrie gives you that added confidence as a team. You know that if your team is having an off day, he can still give us that chance to win."

"Besides being a great goalie, he is also great in the locker room and in the community," added Coach Dube.

Jung is the 5th player signed for the 2011-2012 season. He is also the fourth returnee signed (Adam Rivet, Justin Styffe, David Inman and Torrie Jung).

The Laredo Bucks Team Store has Jung's game-worn jersey, along with other Bucks favorites, for sale NOW online. Go to www.laredobucks.com/teamstore to purchase one today!
