
Neil on Temporary Inactive List; Cargill joins Suns from Jupiter

PENSACOLA, Fla. - The Miami Marlins announced a pair of transactions that impacts their Double-A affiliate Jacksonville Suns roster prior to tonight's game against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos at Pensacola Bayfront Stadium.
Right-handed starting pitcher Matthew Neil is now on the temporary inactive list due to the birth of a child. Neil has made two starts for the Suns, and he is 0-1 with a 5.91 ERA.
In a corresponding move, right-handed pitcher Collin Cargill has been transferred from High-A Jupiter to Jacksonville. Cargill has made five relief appearances with the Hammerheads and has no wins or losses and he hasn't given up an earned run in seven and a third innings on the mound.
The Suns roster remains at 25, and a revised roster is attached.
Jacksonville will play its third game of a five game series against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos tonight at Pensacola Bayfront Stadium. Left-hander Adam Conley (0-0, 2.00 ERA) will start for the Suns against Pensacola right-hander Tim Crabbe (1-0, 0.82 ERA).
The contest begins at 8:00 p.m. ET, and fans can listen to the game on the Suns Baseball Network on WSOS-FM 94.1 and www.jaxsuns.com with coverage beginning with the UF & Shands Suns Pregame Show at 7:45 p.m. ET.
