NECBL Announces Participants for ASG Skills Competitions

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. - On the heels of the New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL) announcing the rosters for the 2015 All-Star Game, the league is pleased to unveil the group of over 20 participants who will partake in the 2015 All-Star Game Skills Competitions on Sunday at Goodall Park.
The Skills Competitions will consist of two contests: a 60-Yard Dash to determine the league's fastest runner; and the annual Home Run Derby.
Leading off the day, 12 of the league's speediest student-athletes will partake in the 60-yard Dash at approximately 12:20 p.m. Simply enough, each competitor will have two trials, with the quickest time being declared the winner.
Afterward, everyone's favorite skills test - the Home Run Derby - will take place at approximately 12:45 p.m., showcasing 11 of the league's most powerful bats, each of which will swing away at Goodall Park's hitter-friendly outfield dimensions to vie for the title of NECBL Home Run Derby Champion.
