March 18, 2003 - NBA G League (G League) News Release
GREENVILLE, S.C., March 18, 2003 â National Basketball Development League president Phil Evans issued the following statement today.
"The NBA has assured us that it is working with the appropriate local and federal agencies to keep a close watch on world events. While we don't want to reveal specific security measures, we are continually working to insure the safety of NBDL fans, teams, media and staff at games.
"The NBDL will follow the lead of the NBA as it continues to monitor world events to determine if any changes to our season are necessary."
