October 1, 2002 - NBA G League (G League) News Release
GREENVILLE, S.C., October 1, 2002 â After just one season, the National Basketball Development League is already making its presence felt in National Basketball Association preseason camps. Twenty-one players with NBDL ties were listed on 16 NBA rosters as vet camps opened around the NBA today.
Two NBDL teams, the Columbus Riverdragons and the Fayetteville Patriots, each boast four players landing on NBA training camp rosters. League champion Greenville, Roanoke and Mobile all have three former players in NBA camps. The Detroit Pistons and the Seattle Supersonics have the most NBDL players in camp with three each.
The following are players from 2001-02 NBDL rosters who are currently in NBA vet camps:
