MR. BROWN GOES TO WASHINGTON: The Wizards signed Huntsville forward Damone Brown to a 10-day contract on Saturday, making him the ninth GATORADE Call-Up of the season and the 48th overall since the league began play in November 2001.

WELCOME TO HUNTSVILLE: Bryant Matthews met his teammates for the first time just before shoot-around on Saturday. By day's end he was their new best friend. Acquired by the Flight on Saturday, Matthews put back a missed shot as time expired to lift Huntsville to a 96-94 win.

YOUNG MAN'S GAME: Fayetteville guard David Young put together the fourth-best scoring night of the NBDL season with 36 points at Roanoke on Saturday.

MONSTER NIGHT: Huntsville forward Rodney Bias scored 20 points and collected 18 rebounds in the Flight's win over Columbus. Ten (10) of his rebounds were off the offensive glass.

FLAME SLAYER: Asheville's Ron Slay connected on 9-of-10 field goal attempts as the Altitude defeated Florida.

ADDITIONAL TOP PERFORMERS FROM SATURDAY
· Reed Rawlings scored 26 points for Columbus on 8-of-11 shooting from the floor.
· Asheville's Joe Forte scored 25 in the Altitude's win at Florida.
· Smush Parker scored 20 and handed out 8 assists for Florida.
