MR. TACO: Who needs SpongeBob when you have Mr. Taco? That's right, Mr. Taco and Miss Burrito (not related as far as we know), will be among the cast of characters expected for Lumbee Electric Kids Day at the Crown Coliseum today. Joining Mr. T and Miss B for what is expected to be the largest crowd at the Crown this year are Bugs Bunny, Taz and other local mascot favorites.
EIGHT IS ENOUGH: The Roanoke Dazzle extended its club-record win streak to eight games despite only having eight players available at Huntsville on Friday.
HALFTIME IV: With his team trailing by eight at the half, the Dazzle's Isiah Victor put the team on his back, scoring 20 of his 25 points in the final two quarters. For good measure, the league's leading scorer also collected 10 rebounds.

NBDL QUIZ: Toronto assistant coach Alex English and point guard Rafer Alston both have NBDL backgrounds, English as head coach of the North Charleston Lowgators in 2001-02 and Alston as a player for the Mobile Revelers in 2002-03. The Raptors have also called up one other NBDL player who is no longer on the roster. Can you name him?
SNAPPED AT FOUR: David Young and Omar Cook made sure Fayetteville's losing skid ended at four games with stellar performances in a pounding of Asheville on Friday. Young scored 26 points and grabbed seven points, while Cook dished out 14 assists.
ROUND ONE: Round one of the weekend matchup between the league's top two rebounders is in the books and Roanoke's James Thomas finished ahead on the judges a scorecard with 14 rebounds, while Huntsville's Rodney Bias collected 12. Round two is today at 2 p.m. CT. The current tote board...Thomas 12.6 per game and Bias 12.2.
NBDL QUIZ ANSWER: Forward Damone Brown was a GATORADE Call-Up to the Raptors from the North Charleston Lowgators during the 2002-03 season. After a stint with the Nets, Brown is currently playing with the Huntsville Flight.
