WHO'S HOT: Huntsville's victory over Fayetteville on Monday night was its fourth consecutive win and kept the Flight in second place in the league standings, just one game behind Columbus.
WHO'S NOT: The Florida Flame lost for the fifth straight time on Monday. The loss also gave Asheville a 5-0 advantage in the season series with the Flame.
SLAY RIDE: Asheville forward Ron Slay has been on a pretty solid run over his last three games, averaging 29.7 points and 8.0 rebounds. Over that span he has converted 34-of-54 field goal attempts (.630).

MVP CHECK: Tierre Brown, the 2003-04 NBDL Most Valuable Player, came off the Lakers' bench Monday night to score a career-high 27 points in 27 minutes. He also grabbed four rebounds and had three assists against the Hawks.

GET ME OFF THIS BUS! Fayetteville's loss at Huntsville on Monday dropped the Patriots to 1-13 in road games this season. Florida isn't much better at 3-11. At least there is a light at the end of the tunnel for Fayetteville, who plays at home against Columbus on Thursday. The Flame doesn't see Germain Arena again until March 3.
