
Asheville Swaps Doliboa to Roanoke for Shannon

GREENVILLE, S.C., February 8 â The Asheville Altitude claimed forward Seth Doliboa from the NBA's National Basketball Development League available player pool and immediately traded him to the Roanoke Dazzle for forward Terrance Shannon, according to an announcement by NBDL director of basketball operations Chris Alpert.
An NBDL veteran, Shannon (Elgin CC '00) is currently tied as the fifth-leading scorer in the league at 16.4 points per game. He has played in and started 21 games for Roanoke this season, averaging 31.8 minutes, 5.0 rebounds and 1.7 assists.
At 6-8, 200, Shannon has played in 105 NBDL games, averaging 29.5 minutes, 14.7 points and 5.2 rebounds. He holds NBDL career records for free throws attempted (626) and free throws made (437).
Doliboa, 6-7, 222, was a third-round selection (13th overall) by the Columbus Riverdragons in the 2004 NBDL Draft. The Wright State ('04) product played in 23 games (two starts) for the Riverdragons, averaging 20.2 minutes, 6.3 points and 3.4 rebounds before being waived on January 31.
Shannon is expected to be in an Altitude uniform tonight when Asheville is host to the Huntsville Flight. Doliboa will report to Roanoke today and be in uniform on Wednesday when the Dazzle hosts the Florida Flame.
