LOOKING FOR FIRST ONE: The Roanoke Dazzle is looking for its first win of the season against Columbus when the Dragons visit the Roanoke Civic Center tonight. The Dazzle is 0-2 against the league leaders.
SPECIAL DAY IN HUNTSVILLE: Huntsville Flight players and staff, along with Cosmo the mascot, are assisting in coaching and referee duties at a Special Olympics basketball tournament today in Huntsville.
SCHOOL DAYS WITH BANG: Roanoke guard Sung-Yoon Bang took time out of his Tuesday schedule to visit with 13 Korean foreign exchange students at Ruffner Middle School in Roanoke.
STREAK STOPPERS: The Columbus Riverdragons proved to be streak stoppers from two angles Tuesday night, snapping their own five-game skid and Asheville's four-game win streak with an 89-83 win at the Asheville Civic Center.
STREAK EXTENDERS: With its win at Asheville Tuesday night, the Columbus Riverdragons extended their streak to 55 days alone on top of the NBDL standings.
NBDL QUOTE OF THE DAY: "We played bad, they played good, end of story," Asheville coach Joey Meyer said following the loss at home to Columbus on Tuesday.
