NBDL QUOTE OF THE DAY: "I love it. It's going to be a battle down there in the belly of the beasts, and that's what James Thomas likes."... Roanoke inside player James Thomas told the Roanoke Times as he readies to meet Rodney Bias and the Huntsville Flight tonight and Thursday at the Roanoke Civic Center. Thomas and Bias are one-two in the NBDL in rebounding at 14.9 and 13.1, respectively.

ROAD TRIPPING: A pair of games at Roanoke this week closes out a four-game road swing for Huntsville. The Flight is currently 2-3 on the road this season.

CONVERTING THIEVERY: The Asheville Altitude leads the NBDL in total steals with 106, 20 more than the next closest team. Coincidentally, the Altitude also leads the league in scoring (99.9 ppg), field goals made (458) and field goal percentage (.502)

GAME OF WEEK: NBA TV's newest innovation in presenting a basketball game, "NBDL Game of the Week", airs Thursday at 4:30 p.m. ET. This week's show features Florida Flame players Kevin Braswell, Kirk Haston and Darius Rice, along with Asheville's Lenny Stokes. Analytical clips will come from the Altitude at Flame game on December 16.

MLK SHOWCASE: The MLK Showcase, featuring every NBDL team in six games over two days, is scheduled for January 16-17 at the Columbus (Ga.) Civic Center. Game times for games each day are 11 a.m., 2 and 5 p.m.

ON THE WEB: Go to NBDL.com to vote on which team will have the next GATORADE call-up. The NBDL has had 39 GATORADE call-ups since the inaugural season in 2001-02.
