SNOWING AT GERMAIN: Who said it never snows in Southwest Florida? Snow will be falling outside Germaine Arena prior to today's Asheville at Florida game as Santa makes a visit to the game. Fans can also register to win a TV and DVD player, with proceeds from the raffle going to benefit the American Red Cross.
FAMILIAR FOES: Today's game between Florida and Asheville will mark the third time the Flame and Altitude have played in six days. Asheville has won the previous two meetings.
IN THE LEFT-HAND COLUMN: Ousmane Cisse, Omar Cook and Ernest Brown all recorded double-doubles as the Fayetteville Patriots snapped a six-game losing streak with a 101-98 overtime win over Huntsville Saturday night.
SULTANS OF SWAT: Ousmane Cisse of Fayetteville leads the NBDL with 29 total blocked shots, but Mike Benton of Columbus leads the league in blocked shots per game at 2.8 (25 in nine games).
GIVING AND RECEIVING: Florida point guard Kevin Braswell not only leads the league in assists at 9.1 per game, but he has also had no problem taking advantage of gifts coming his way. Braswell has converted all 15 of his free throw attempts this season.

GAME OF THE WEEK: NBA TV is changing the way basketball junkies watch a game with the NBDL "Game of the Week" show. Instead of broadcasting the game in a conventional manner, NBA TV is taking the game's top performers, analyzing their play and what they have to do to make it to the next level.
