BACK TO ACTION: NBDL play resumes Tuesday when the Florida Flame looks to snap a four-game losing skid at Asheville. Tipoff is 7 p.m. at the Asheville Civic Center.
ALUMNI CHECK: Saturday's NBA game between the Lakers and the Clippers had a distinct NBDL flair with former D-Leaguers Mikki Moore and Bobby Simmons starting for the Clippers. Moore recorded a double-double with 18 points and 14 rebounds in 47 minutes, while Simmons had 15 points.
ALUMNI CHECK II: 2004 NBDL MVP Tierre Brown came off the Lakers bench on Sunday to play 28 minutes, score 10 points and dish out eight assists. The eight assists were a season high for Brown and one short of his NBA career best.
ONE MORE UPDATE: Former Huntsville Flight guard Ron Dupree has been activated from the injured list for the Detroit Pistons. He played 14 minutes in his return to the active roster at Memphis on Saturday.

AN EARL AND A KING FEATURED: The December 16 "NBDL Game of the Week" show on NBA TV will be based on the December 3 Huntsville at Asheville game. Featured players will be Antonio Meeking and Ron Slay of Asheville, along with Earl Barron, Bernard King and Joe Shipp of Huntsville. Air time is 4:30 p.m. ET
GAME OF THE WEEK: NBA TV will feature Saturday's Fayetteville at Roanoke contest on its "NBDL Game of the Week" show on December 17.
SHOWCASE COUNTDOWN: There are 35 days left until the start of the MLK Showcase, when all six NBDL teams will gather in Columbus, Ga. on January 16-17 to play six games in two days.
QUIZ ANSWER: There are 22 current D-Leaguers, or 37% of the league, who began the year in NBA vet camps.
