DOWN TO THE FINAL NIGHT: The race for the regular season championship and the #1 seed in the postseason has come down to tonight's season-ending games. Asheville enters its regular season finale with a one-game lead over Charleston.
FOR ASHEVILLE TO BE REGULAR SEASON CHAMPS: The Altitude must win at home against Fayetteville tonight.
FOR CHARLESTON TO BE REGULAR SEASON CHAMPS: The Lowgators need to win tonight at Roanoke and Fayetteville has to beat Asheville. If that happens, Charleston will be the top seed by virtue of winning the season series over Asheville.
REGARDLESS, CHARLESTON WILL HOST: By virtue of a 91-88 win over Huntsville on Friday, Charleston secured the final host site for the NBDL Delta Air Lines Postseason Classic. Who the Lowgators will host on Saturday, April 17 is yet to be determined.
THREE SEED: The Huntsville Flight will be the #3 seed in the NBDL Delta Air Lines Postseason Classic.
THE LAST SPOT: To earn the final postseason berth, Fayetteville needs to beat Asheville tonight. For Roanoke to earn the last spot, the Dazzle needs to beat Charleston and hope Asheville beats the Patriots. Identical records give the berth to Roanoke due to the tiebreaker.
SEMI-FINALS SET FOR APRIL 17: Both Charleston and Asheville will host NBDL Delta Air Lines Postseason Classic semi-final games on Saturday, April 17.
NBDL QUIZ: What NBDL assistant coach was a McDonald's High School All-America and a teammate of veteran NBA guard Kenny Anderson at Archbishop Molloy High in New York City?
NBDL ON NBA TV: April 12, 4 p.m. ET Fayetteville at Asheville delayed broadcast; 6 p.m. ET "This Week in the NBDL" featuring interviews with Asheville guards Kareem Reid and Brandin Knight.
LITTLE KNOWN NBDL FACT: Huntsville forward William Pippen is the nephew of NBA great Scottie Pippen. William played his college ball at Middle Tennessee State.
