KEEPIN' UP WITH THEM: Like a good parent keeps up with the children after they have left the nest, the NBDL keeps a constant watch on its "children" after they have made the jump to the NBA. They may be "grown and gone", but they are still a source of pride. Following are a handful of updates, more to come later this week.

THE UDOKAS
Charleston forward Ime Udoka's sister, Mfon, will play for the Nigerian National Team at the Olympic Games in Greece. Getting ready for her second season as a Houston Comet, Mfon and Ime are the first brother-sister tandem to play in the NBA and WNBA. Ime signed a 10-day contract with the Los Angeles Lakers and appeared in five games in January.
WHO COACHES THE NIGERIAN NATIONAL TEAM? The team is coached by former NBDL coach Sam Vincent, who also handles color analysis for the NBDL on NBA TV. Vincent led Mobile to the NBDL Championship last season.
NBDL ON NBA TV: April 12, 4 p.m. ET Fayetteville at Asheville delayed broadcast; 6 p.m. ET "This Week in the NBDL" live broadcast.
NBDL DELTA AIR LINES POSTSEASON CLASSIC: Postseason play begins April 17 with Asheville hosting an opponent yet to be determined. Huntsville and Charleston are fighting for the remaining host site. They meet Friday in Charleston.
LITTLE KNOWN NBDL FACT: Before embarking on an 11-year NBA playing career, Asheville assistant coach Mike Sanders was named as the Most Outstanding Player in the 1980 NCAA West Regional as a UCLA Bruin. Sanders recorded outstanding games against Ohio State (19 pts, 8 reb) and Clemson (22 pts, 10 reb) while leading UCLA to the Final Four.
