
Cleaves Returns to Huntsville

GREENVILLE, S.C., April 7 â The Huntsville Flight has reacquired guard Mateen Cleaves and waived guard Larry Reid, according to an announcement today by NBDL director of basketball operations Chris Alpert and Huntsville coach Ralph Lewis.
Cleaves signed a 10-day contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers March 29 and was waived by the Cavaliers when guard Jeff McInnis was activated from the injured list on Tuesday. He started two of the four games he played in with the Cavaliers, averaging 23.0 minutes, 3.8 points and 4.8 assists.
He has played in 40 games (25 starts) for Huntsville, averaging 29.7 minutes, 14.1 points, 5.8 assists and 4.3 rebounds. He is expected to be back in jersey #24 when the Flight visits Charleston Friday night.
